‘We Support, We Protect, We Stand Together’

SUPPORTING QUEENSLANDERS FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE

Response Mental Health & Wellbeing was created by First Responders with a lived experience in PTSD anxiety and depression. Throughout our specific journeys, we have identified that standard talk therapy in treating mental health issues may not be enough support for many people to get back to living a healthy, fun and productive life. The human brain isn’t one dimensional, it is a complex organ even when functioning optimally. Therefore, at Response, our approach to treating mental issues will be individualised and holistic by looking at a number of key areas that assist in improving your overall mental health.

Our vision is a world where mental health is universally understood, valued, and supported. We envision a society where every individual, regardless of background or circumstance, has access to compassionate, evidence-based mental health care and support.

Treatment of Trauma related issues including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), addiction, depression, and anxiety disorders, developing skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, coping with stress, improving relationships with others, and managing symptoms. We will achieve this while Emphasis on creating inclusive and diverse spaces in therapy while recognising the importance of cultural sensitivity and tailoring approaches to meet the needs of individuals from different backgrounds and identities.
