Response Mental health and wellbeing is a registered charity that combines evidence-based practices and current research to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to treating people from all walks of life with a range of mental health issues. Response has integrated techniques from fields in psychology, neuroscience, trauma-informed care, and psychotherapy. Specifically, Response Mental Health and Wellbeing will utilise DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), Trauma focused ACT therapy and Creative Arts Therapy as the main modalities of mental health therapy.

Our Goals
Treatment of Trauma related issues including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), addiction, depression, and anxiety disorders, developing skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, coping with stress, improving relationships with others, and managing symptoms. We will achieve this while Emphasis on creating inclusive and diverse spaces in therapy while recognising the importance of cultural sensitivity and tailoring approaches to meet the needs of individuals from different backgrounds and identities.

Our Programs and Services
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
DBT is a modified type of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). The main goals are to teach people how regulate emotions, to live in the moment, develop healthy ways to cope with stress, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness by improving relationships with others
Trauma Focus ACT (TFACT)
TFACT is a flexible comprehensive approach to Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), it treats an entire spectrum of trauma – related issues, including PTSD, addiction, depression, anxiety disorders, moral injury, complicated grief
Creative Arts Therapy
Creative arts therapy contributes to healing by providing individuals with a safe and supportive environment to express their emotions, process their thoughts and experiences, and develop coping mechanisms
Holistic health care
Attendees will also be provided with holistic wellbeing strategies such as visiting practitioners, speakers, creatives, community engagement, exercise, nutrition, sleep, social connections and events
Our programs will benefit
Response’s programs are suitable for a wide range of people from the following groups
- Anyone experiencing mental health issues or dealing with trauma related injuries.
- First Responders and emergency services
- Defence members and veterans
- People with Addiction or eating disorders
- First Nations people
- People with personality disorders
- Those people who have thoughts of self-harm or have attempted to take their life
- Those experiencing depression and anxiety
Shop Merchandise
At this point Response Mental Health & Wellbeing are offering a basic range of merchandise where we will take pre orders for these items and once we have reached 50 sales for each item we will place an order. That order will take 4 to 6 weeks to arrive and once we receive it we will post it immediately to you.
